TERRORIST NATIONS AGAINST AMERICA
4:00 a.m., February 16, 2003, Atlanta:
I woke up to meet with the Lord. Before I went back to sleep, I asked the Lord for a word concerning these visions about the future of America. As I continued in prayer, I heard (by the Spirit of God) a loud voice saying, “A sword has been driven to the ground,” even as I saw a sword come from Heaven and strike the soil of America. A sword has been drawn against America.
Prophetically, a “sword” implies war. The sword is an instrument of war against whom it is drawn. With a sword striking the land, an important decision concerning America has been made in Heaven. I suppose there will be war right here on the soil of America. But this will be a different kind of war. Compared to the Iraq War, this war will be of greater magnitude and dimension. I feel compelled to refer you to the book of Ezekiel the 21st chapter concerning the sword— an instrument of terror that God raised up against His beloved Israel. This instrument of terror translated into a terror or rogue nation that the Lord used to punish Israel, when Israel had rebelled against Him. With the sword out of its sheath, the fate of the nation was sealed, and the judgment and the awful wrath of God was decreed to come upon Israel. God allowing a terrorist nation to war against Israel and prevail, as a punishment for Israel’s rebellion, gives us a tremendous insight to the unique way by which the Lord could punish rebellious nations even in today’s world.
Ezekiel 21:1-5: And the word of the LORD came unto me [Ezekiel, the prophet of the Lord], saying, Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: that all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
